Teddies for Loving Care (TLC) is a Masonic initiative founded in 2001, where Freemasons provide teddies to A&E hospitals throughout the UK.

The medical staff use their discretion when giving a bear to a child that is suffering from trauma, injury or illness. Not every child visiting A&E will receive a bear. The bears are used to befriend the children, to reward them for being brave and in some cases to demonstrate what they are going to do.

More than ONE MILLION teddies have been distributed throughout the UK Since 2001 and the Children keep the Bear forever, as their best friend and so Teddy gets a new home.
