Freemasonry is a jounrey...

Freemasonry is a society of like-minded people who meet regularly in a fraternal and social environment, sharing a common desire... to give charitable support to the community and attach high importance to tradition, integrity and moral standards.

In Filey, there are two Masonic Lodges (Royal Lodge and Portus Felix Lodge) and several appendant orders...which means the Masonic Hall is quite a busy place.

Freemasons raise substantial amounts of money for charity and other good causes and are collectively second only to the National Lottery in the UK in terms of charitable donations.

A Freemason’s values are based on integrity, kindness, honesty and fairness...showing tolerance and respect for the opinions of others and behaving with kindness and understanding to all people...both Masonic and non-Masonic.

To contact either of the lodges at Filey, please use the contact forms under the respective lodge.
