Inquirimus Lodge of Installed Masters
An installed master’s lodge compliments the activities of existing lodges; in that the lodge does not work the Ceremonies of Initiation, Passing or Raising. Instead, the Lodge meetings are an opportunity to take a further step in Masonic knowledge, via lecture, interactive talks and discussions, demonstrations or plays, all usually, but not exclusively with a Masonic theme.
Contrary to common belief you do not have to be a Worshipful Master to visit this lodge.
Inquirimus lodge of Installed Masters was originally formed in Scarborough but moved to Filey in 1982. The lodge meets three times a year on the fourth Thursday in February, April and October.
