An Installed Masters Lodge is, as its name implies, is a lodge for Freemasons who have been or who are currently Installed as the Worshipful Master of a lodge.

An installed master’s lodge compliments the activities of existing lodges in that the lodge the lodge does not work the Ceremonies of Initiation, Passing or Raising. Instead, the Lodge Meetings give us an opportunity to take a further step in Masonic knowledge, via lecture, interactive talks and discussions, demonstrations or plays, all usually, but not exclusively with a Masonic theme.

Inquirimus lodge of Installed Masters was originally formed in Scarborough but moved to Filey in 1982. The lodge meets 3 times a year on the fourth Thursday in February, April and October.
